PPG Model 3 - LX Green Eagle (gas or propane) Comes with all the above in gas or propane - $10,700 to include:
• Ivo 3 blade adjustable propeller • Full EFI Flight instrument panel and wiring system • Quad or Trike front end option with brakes. • Choice of gas or propane engine • Full charging system • Gas DFX Ultra Stage One • Add only $680.00 for Stage Two Ultra with high rise and chrome carburetor, 45+ hp. Allow up to 3 weeks for delivery.
If you choose the gas version you get a stronger version of the DFX 61 with higher compression - enabling easy tandem with over 240+ lbs of thrust. If using gas with the DFX ultra engine, you must use high octane as compression is over 9.7 to 1.

We wanted an engine that used a gallon an hour or less, produced more than 220lbs of thrust with a 60" or smaller prop. We needed a quiet engine with low vibrations, low RPMs, lots of power, long running time - all on a sesame seed bun. Well all but the Sesame seed bun part. We chose a generator engine as they are built to run at full speed for thousands of hours. Our base engine before modifications was designed to run 3000 hours at 3700 RPMs. That is before we made radical changes to the engine and used propane as a fuel source. Yes, I said Propane....
